Apple iOS 7.0.4 Available; fixes App and In-App purchases with insufficient authorization


Apple on Thursday released the iOS 7.0.4 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update fixes FaceTime calls to fail for some users, along with other issues.



Apple iOS 7.0.4 update is now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update bumped the iOS 7 to build 11B554a forgoingiOS 7.0.3.
The release, Apple explains in the official description of the update, brings various “bug fixes and improvements, including a fix for an issue that causes FaceTime calls to fail for some users.” The update – weighs 17MB only — is applicable to iPhone 4 or higher, iPad 2 or later, iPad Mini and iPod touch, and now available via OTA and can also be downloaded via iTunes.
Besides, it also addresses a security issue that lead to complete App and In-App purchases with insufficient authorization. Surprisingly, an iOS 5 bug that allows to restore deleted PNG alpha photos has reportedly returned to few iOS 7 upgraded devices.
